Are you a young change maker passionate about making a difference? The Gift Sri Lanka Foundation invites dynamic young leaders to join our Junior Board of Directors. This is your opportunity to develop leadership skills while creating meaningful impact in Sri Lankan communities.
Leadership Opportunities
Take charge as a key decision-maker in our organization:
- Executive roles including President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer
- Democratic election process where your voice and vision matter
- Direct mentorship from our Board of Directors
- Monthly meetings to shape and drive initiatives
Make Real Impact
As a Junior Board member, you'll:
- Lead innovative fundraising campaigns
- Create awareness initiatives
- Organize volunteer activities
- Contribute to strategic planning
- Network with community leaders
Eligibility Requirements
- Rising junior, rising senior, or recent high school graduate
- Strong commitment to community service
- Ability to attend monthly meetings
- Passion for making positive change
Application Requirements
1. Completed application form
2. One letter of recommendation from a community member, mentor, or teacher
(Letters from parents/guardians will not be accepted)
3. Parent/guardian signature on application
Selection Process
1. Submit complete application package to youth@giftsl.org
2. Application review by Board of Directors
3. Interviews with shortlisted candidates
4. Final selection notification
